Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.

Spend the rest of the day relaxing and preparing for your safari. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore Arusha town or simply enjoy the hotel facilities.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and spectacular landscapes.

Enjoy a full-day game drive searching for elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and numerous bird species.

In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park.

Enjoy a game drive through the park, which is known for its diverse habitats, large bird population, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes and tree-climbing lions.

Later, continue to your accommodation in the Karatu/Manyara area.

Day 4: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, begin your journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park.

The drive itself offers beautiful views of the Tanzanian countryside and the Great Rift Valley. Enter Serengeti and enjoy an afternoon game drive as you make your way toward your camp.

Keep your eyes open for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes and large herds of plains animals.

Day 5: Full-Day Serengeti National Park

Today is dedicated to exploring the magnificent Serengeti.

Enjoy a full-day game drive across the endless plains. Serengeti is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife destinations and offers excellent opportunities to see the Big Five.

Depending on the season and animal movements, you may also witness parts of the Great Wildebeest Migration.

Day 6: Serengeti – Central Serengeti Wildlife Safari

After breakfast, continue exploring the Serengeti with a game drive in the central Seronera region.

The area is well known for its abundant wildlife and year-round opportunities to see predators such as lions, cheetahs and leopards.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon safari.

Day 7: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Serengeti, when wildlife is particularly active.

After breakfast, depart toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy the changing landscapes and wildlife of northern Tanzania.

Arrive at your lodge near the crater rim and relax while preparing for the following day’s crater experience.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu

After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day crater game drive.

The crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending in the afternoon and returning to your lodge.
